1907 Declaration for Pension:ACT OF FEBRUARY 6, 1907DECLARATION FOR PENSION…State of West Virginia County of Wetzel On this 6 day of March, A. D. one thousand nine hundred and seven, personally appeared before me, a [unreadable name] Notary Public within and for the county and State aforesaid, William McFann, who, being duly sworn accordig to law, declares that he is 75 years of age, and a resident of Littleton West Virginia county of Wetzel, State of West Virginia; and that he is the identical person who was Enrolled at Littleton under the name of William McFann, on the 12 day of October, 1861 as a Private, in Co., N. 6th Regt. West Virginia Inft. in the service of the United States, in the Civil war, and was Honorably Discharged at Grafton, on the 17 day of November, 1864 … That he was not employed in the military or naval service of the United States otherwise than as stated above. That his personal description at enlistment was as follows: Height, 5 feet 8 inches; complexion, light; color of eyes, gray; color of hair, light; that his occupation was Farmer; that he was born October 20th, 1831, at Waynesburg Pa That his several places of residence since leaving the service have been as follows: 1st Littleton WV then moved to Kansas 1885, then to Littleton 1892 That he is a pensioner. That he has heretofore applied for pension I am a pentioner No Certificate 706224 That he makes this declaration for the purpose of being placed on the pension roll of the United States under the provisions of the act of February 6, 1907.
